Had a blast shooting my friend’s wedding yesterday.
Wedding’s I
find are the most rush filled events that you could ever shoot.
Everything happens quickly and you have only that infinitesimally
chance to capture the precious moment that’s never going to repeat
itself forever.
It’s scary for that reason too, since a small or
God forbid, huge lapse in your photography consistency could ruin the
married couple’s sometimes only form of wedding memory solidification.
I
grew closer to my camera too. I was doubtful at first to leave it to
shutter priority and let the camera choose the shutter speed. But was
forced to since you don’t really have the time to dial in the correct
settings. Nevertheless, she did well, extremely well, so proud of
her/it!
Yet, the only qualm I had was the lack of a 50mm f/1.4 lens. So many times during the whole day I wished I had it.
Would
hopefully get up a slide presentation soons… got a thousand shots but
it was not even the end of the night yet, need more memory cards. So
yeah, for my birthday/Christmas/friendship day next time, a nice 2GB
highspeed SD card would do. =D
